Returns Policy

Please read our returns policy in full before purchasing any goods from Bourne Home Furniture, all our products abide by this policy and any returns will be strictly followed as below.

At Bourne Home Furniture we have many tried and tested methods of ensuring all our products are working and fit for use before we list them for sale. Our main priority is keeping our customers happy so we run several processes on our products such as our unique 30 point pre delivery inspection process, which tests all the basic functions of the product to ensure it is working correctly. Although we try our best to make sure everything is 100% perfect there are certain things we can’t test to keep product new.

Please bare in mind all our products are listed as graded and range from new without packaging to customer returns. You will be informed what type of grade your chosen product is before you continue with your order.

We offer a full 30 day purchase price money back guarantee on faulty goods bought from us, this is included in the sale. Any delivery charges that were set at the time of sale are non refundable and collection charges will apply.

You have 30 days from taking ownership of your product to return faulty goods to us. We will always attempt the exchange, repair or refund the product for you. We reserve the right to inspect the product in full and verify the fault before deciding on our next step.

We do not cover faults caused by damage, neglect, misuse, normal wear and tear or any product that has any third party repairs not authorised by us. This will void any warranty we offer so always contact us before proceeding with any repairs.

If your machine has been delivered faulty or developed a fault during use, our first step to resolving any faults is to call out an engineer from the manufacturer. This will help us understand what has gone wrong so we can get the problem resolved as quickly as possible.

If you had free delivery or collected your product yourself, collection charges and call out will still apply.

Call out charges and collection charges may merge into one fee if the product is to be collected on the same visit as the call out.

Delivery and collection are a separate service to your purchase. If you were offered free delivery with your product this was by discretion of Bourne Home Furniture and collection charges will apply.

If you change your mind about the product you have purchased from us you have 14 calendar days from delivery to return it in its original packaging. You may examine the product as you would in a shop but you must not use, install or input any data/software and must be ‘as new’ condition with original packaging, if you have used your new product and have changed your mind on the purchase you can still return it but will only be eligible for a 50% refund.

You would of been made aware at the time of your purchase that all orders are be subject to a £30 non refundable deposit, this deposit secures your item for 10 days or once delivered which ever comes first. If you are returning your item for any other reason than it has become faulty this deposit will remain with Bourne Home Furniture, in addition to any collection charges applied.

Any products purchased using Snap! Finance are also subject to a £30 non-refundable deposit. You have until the delivery date of your product to change your mind about your purchase. If you do the £30 deposit will remain with Bourne Home Furniture. For more information on the cancellation or returns policy for your finance agreement please refer to Snap! Finance website.

Unfortunately we do not accept delivered items to be returned by the customer unless they are sent via a fully insured courier, transported correctly and safely packaged to the specification of the item.

To return your product you must have proof of purchase such as your receipt or bank statement.

If you purchased your item online and used PayPal or any other payment company or shop that take a service fee your refund will need to be processed accordingly. Refunds can only be issued via the payment service and will returned to that account.

If you purchased your item via eBay or similar selling agent you will need to inform them that you are requesting a refund so we can process accordingly.

Due to the nature of our business we do not guarantee you can activate any manufacturer warranty which may be included with your product. You will be informed at the time of sale what warranty you are entitled to with your new product, if any.

Any products you deem to be faulty you must get in contact with us at your earliest convenience for us to be able to find a resolution. Your products should be in the same condition as you received it and ready for inspection. If we find we can not repair your product alternative options will be supplied to you, such as a refund or similar replacement. If we find the failure to be caused by neglect, serious damage, misuse or fair wear and tear, you may not be entitled to any refund or replacement. If you have used your product and is of the nature that requires a professional to install, you must provide the receipt or invoice from the instructed tradesman who carried out the installation for us to verify they are competent to carry out the work, if you did not hire a professional and installed it yourself you may have voided any warranty you have with us.

You would of been offered a fitting or assembly service with your new product. If this was declined we assume you have already found a qualified professional to do this for you. If you new product came flat packed and is damaged during self assembly unfortunately we do not cover this. We advised checking all parts throughly for any damage or imperfections, if you are not happy with the condition, please inform us before you attempt to assemble it. All products are subject to an inspection before any refund is given.
